How to Connect to a CS2 Server Through the Console

There are three ways to connect to a community server in Counter-Strike 2. The most universal one is through the console with the connect command. Before that you need to enable the console (see the guide “How to Enable the Console in CS2”).

Method 1 — the connect command

• Open the console (the ~ key).
• Type: connect IP:port — for example, connect 185.231.154.12:27015.
• Press Enter — the connection to the server will begin.

Method 2 — the steam://connect link

Click the blue ▶ button next to a server in the monitoring — a link of the form steam://connect/IP:port opens, and the game connects you automatically. This is the fastest way — just one click.

Method 3 — through the monitoring

Open the server list on ServerCS2, pick a mode and a server with a suitable ping and click “Play”. There's no need to type the IP manually — the connection happens right away.
